AQI Today (aqitoday.in) is a free, public service providing real-time air quality data for locations across India. We do not use cookies for tracking, run third-party advertising, or sell your data — ever.
Data We Collect
Location — When you search for a city or tap “My Location,” we use your location solely to fetch air quality data. We never request location on page load. We do not store your location history.
Email Subscriptions — If you subscribe to AQI alerts, we collect your email and preferred city, used exclusively for air quality updates. Unsubscribe any time by contacting us.
Feedback — Our feedback widget collects your message and an anonymous identifier to group feedback. We do not tie this identifier to your real identity.
Server Logs — Our hosting provider may log standard information such as IP addresses and page URLs, used for debugging and security only.
Local Storage — We do not set tracking cookies. We use browser local storage only to remember your last selected location for a faster experience on return visits.
Third-Party Services
We use Google APIs to power location search and air quality data retrieval. These services are subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. All communication is encrypted via HTTPS.
Your Rights
You may request access to or deletion of your data, or withdraw location consent through your browser settings, at any time.
